The personal data you provide in the User registration process, along with any data submitted during the provision of services or that Placy may obtain through the Site and/or the App, will be processed by PLACY, domiciled in Brazil and whose contact email is contact@placy.live.
This Policy governs the processing of personal data. All terms used in the Policy will have the meaning established in the Terms and Conditions of Use (which can be viewed at this link, unless expressly defined in this Privacy Policy.
Personal data will be collected and processed in the context of the Services offered through the Site and/or the App for the following purposes:
(a) To manage User registration and be able to control the development and fulfillment of the contractual relationship with you, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Use. In particular, Placy will process the following categories of data for the specified purposes below:

Additionally, and only with the User's consent in each case, we will use your data for the following additional purposes:
(a) To better understand your preferences through the evaluation of your profile, using the data to improve the use of the Site and/or the App, prevent fraud, and improve the service.
(b) If requested, to send the User advertising or commercial information, including by electronic means, about Placy's products and services that may be of interest.
(c) If consent is provided, to process the User's image and voice for the purpose of identification to other users.
(d) Process your participation in specific competitions and promotions.
Furthermore, the User's personal data will be processed when Placy has to comply with a legal obligation according to tax laws and anti-money laundering regulations.

Placy will keep the personal data of Users as long as they remain clients or registered users of the Site and/or the App, and personal data will be retained after the termination of the contractual relationship, duly blocked, for the time necessary to respond to any liabilities that may arise from the relationship. In some cases, we retain personal data for longer if it is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, collect owed fees, or otherwise permitted or required by law, regulation, or applicable rule.
In particular, Personal Data needed to respond to queries made and to send electronic marketing communications will be processed as long as the User does not revoke the consent given and, once that consent has been withdrawn, for the time necessary to respond to any liabilities that may have arisen. In any case, when personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was obtained and until it is definitively canceled, it will be kept blocked.
As noted in the Terms and Conditions of Use, we do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Data from children under 16; if you are a child under 16, please do not attempt to register or use the Services or send us any Personal Data. If we learn that we have collected Personal Data from a child under 16, we will delete that information as soon as possible. Placy may communicate Users' personal data when required by law, to defend their legitimate rights and interests, or when necessary according to the services contracted by Users. They may also be accessed by third-party service providers and technical support and computing services, some of which are detailed below.
Certain systems, data, and services are hosted on Digital Ocean, with their servers located in New York. Your data may be transferred internationally to this company's servers in the United States. Placy will adopt appropriate mechanisms to ensure that the transfer of personal data is conducted under a framework equivalent to that provided in European data protection regulations.

The User can update the information held by Placy through the settings available in their account, or by writing to contact@placy.live. We remind you that, for Placy to adequately provide the Services, the User must keep their information updated and therefore agrees to regularly check the information provided to ensure its accuracy.
You can ask us to stop sending marketing emails or communications at any time. To do so, you can change your communication preferences in the settings section of your account, or contact us at contact@placy.live. However, this will not prevent us from sending emails and other communications related to the Services, as these are necessary to fulfill the contractual relationship between us and the User.
